Wow. You're very welcome, but really, thank you for sharing this story. It was really and truly amazing. I loved the emotion this chapter, but with the little jokes and jabs throughout, sort of laughing at death because they've managed to defy it. The interaction with Cuddy seemed very in-character, very appropriate to the circumstances. I really loved the ending, too, the conversation with Wilson. It's kind of lighthearted and like their ordinary banter in places, but there's a deeper thread of emotion throughout, and you can just tell how much they mean to each other. What House said as he was leaving, "I'm glad you're not dead," I can just hear the way he would say that, and the deeper sincerity of his meaning. It was awesome. You're awesome.

Thanks again for this story. Your writing is really impressive. No need to be so humble about it, you know. :3 (And now I have to go finish my paper for class tomorrow... So g'night!)
