 just curious, what are you guys hearing about the butt fuckery going down here in Arizona? I feel like my state's politics are job security for comedians.

I can't speak for anyone else, but what I'm hearing is that the lunatics have taken control of the asylum and that most of what the Arizona Republican politicians say about Mexican immigration (illegal or otherwise) simply isn't true.

And one could say just about the same things about my own state, Texas. Politics and the possibility of power gives many people a very, very ugly mask to wear.

I don't even bother listening to politicians at this point. I do know that all the major media have been slow to accurately report the specifics of the law. I also know I was woken at 3:17 this morning by the border patrol picking up a family of illegals who woke a neighbourhood dog and then most of the rest of the neighbourhood. We have illegals who have just crossed over get picked up in my town several times a day. We lose at least 1 Search and Rescue Team member to death or injury every season due to dangerous rescue attempts for stranded illegals in the Huachuca mountains.
