So London was freaking awesome. I've already been a few times before, which meant that this trip I could skip most of the real touristy stuff and do what I wanted to do. Highlights were seeing Wicked and Avenue Q, going to the Sherlock Holmes museum, and going on a Jack the Ripper walk. I stayed at the St. Giles, which is at an ace location right next to Oxford St. I have a savings account set aside to spend my junior year abroad, and I'm seriously considering spending it in London. The folks were nice and I always felt safe, even in the East End. I went all the way out to Stepney alone and I never felt uncomfortable. Just a really great city. :)

What in the hell kind of camera do you have? Those pictures are, like, clearer than life itself.

I really like the one of you with the roses behind you. Could almost be for a magazine or something. And those HATS on the guards. OMG... those HATS.

I have a Nikon D5000. Not the best, but it's what I could afford and it gets the job done. The lens, however, is 52mm and my dad got it for me for graduation. Best present ever. :)

I vow to one day return and steal you a fuzzy hat.

I have screencapped this so that you can never go back on your vow. Except not really. Still, a hat would be awesome. I wonder if the guards are allowed to move if you take their hats.

Here via perspi because I'm procrastinatin' (hopefully not in a creepy fashion). These are great pics -- I read below that you have a Nikon D5000. I got a Sony alpha-500 recently and I've been loving it. What sort of lens were you using?

I've always wanted to go on a Holmesian tour of London. And, a James Joyce tour of Dublin. That would be like nerdgasm central.
